Yellow Cab gives Free Rides if you get to Sloshed

I’m sure that you have already heard, but Yellow Cab of Birmingham has pledged that over the next year they will be giving free cab rides to people who are to drunk to drive. I think this is a great program that people really need to start taking advantage of, and also a great marketing campaign. Here is some more info:

The service is fully paid for by Yellow Cab, with no costs to the customers or the participating bars and restaurants. The businesses to sign up so far are Sweet Bones Alabama, WorkPlay, Five Points Grille, J. Clydes, Lou’s Pub, Nana Funks and Innisfree Pub.

All the customer has to do is tell the business he or she will be needing a ride home and put their keys in an envelope with their destination information and the location of their car, which they will be responsible for retrieving later from the businesses.
