Well hello hello new freshman! Welcome to UAB, and welcome to iloveuab.com. I know it’s been a rough start this semester, rain on rain, one hour parking, as well as ridiculous book prices all suck really bad. Worry not! iloveuab.com is here to make you feel better. This site was started to kind of bridge the gap between the students and the University. The site was started by a student (me) and is currently student run and student read. We don’t get paid to write all the stuff that we write, it’s kind of a labor of love.

My name is Andrew Stone and I started iloveuab.com back in December of 2008. I pretty much held it down by myself until CJ Britton, Jessica Seales, and Jason Meier joined me to help out. This semester I brought on some more talented writers, Kristin Ellis, Stephanie Norwood, and Monique Jones who bring the total of people writing for this site up to seven.
