UAB USGA Ballot Information
Yo, it’s getting about that time to start thinking about who you are going to be voting for when the USGA elections arrive on February 24th and 25th. USGA at UAB (in my opinion) has not been taken very seriously (by the student body) in the past, especially the senate positions. I say that because most of the time a lot of the officers would be running uncontested and a lot of the senate seats would be left unfilled. However, this year, that is not the case. Almost every single office has a contender and for senate seats, this is the first time ANY senate position has been contested. I think this is awesome and shows how UAB’s student body is growing with involvement and leadership. I will post the official ballot below.
Since USGA is becoming a pretty big thing, and especially since USGA President is such a big deal, I have scored interviews with both candidates for you to see! I’ll be interviewing Hernandez D. Stroud, and Amanda Azoroh, both of which are friends of mine. Of course I will ask some questions about involvement, platform, and goals. But I also intend to ask some entertaining questions that will help us get a better feel for their personalities. It should be interesting.

Oh yeah, and vote Andrew Stone for School of Business Senator!
