UPC Homecoming Exec Positions

The UPC Homecoming Committee is looking for people to fill the following positions on the Executive Board.
Marketing Chair
The Homecoming Committee Marketing Chair shall report to the Homecoming Committee Executive Board in all promotional affairs regarding Homecoming Week Activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and developing a strategic marketing plan for the Homecoming Committee and Homecoming Week Activities to all areas of the University
- Supervising in creating all publicity and promotional materials to be used in conjunction with Homecoming Week Activities
- Establishing guidelines with Homecoming Committee Advisor for the Homecoming Committee in all Public Relations related issues
- Coordinating, printing, and distribution of all advertising and publicity with Homecoming Week Activities
- Managing recruitment tables for Homecoming Committee at UAB events
Spirit Chair
The Homecoming Spirit Coordinator shall report to the Homecoming Executive Board in coordinating the Spirit Competition events throughout the Homecoming Week. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Recruiting judges to participate in Spirit Competition events
- Actively recruiting organizations to participate in Spirit Competition events
- Coordinating the presentation of awards in regards to the Spirit Competition winners
- Planning events such as: Blaze the Night and Tailgate
- Reserving available spaces for all Spirit Events
- Developing, along with subcommittee, new Spirit events
