UAB presents Alabama’s largest stepshow
Of all of UAB’s traditions, I think my favorite, is coming up.

Saturday (February 28) is the 19th Annual Camille Armstrong Memorial Scholarship Stepshow. Seven teams of talented steppers from the south (including UAB, Auburn and Mississippi State) will face off for bragging rights and a cash prize.
Tickets are on sale and it pays to get them now! You can pick them up at the HUC Ticket Office.
Before Saturday:
UAB Students: $11
Everyone else: $16
Saturday (Day of Camille):
UAB Students: $16
Everyone else: $21
And of course, the best part is that all of this is for a good cause. Camille Armstrong was a student leader at UAB (Ambassador, member of Delta Sigma Theta, member of the Program Allocation Board and much more) who was tragically killed in a car accident. The money raised at the step show goes to create a scholarship for African-American students at UAB who want to follow in Camille’s footstep and enter into a career in law.
