UAB listens.
UAB is a special place for a lot of reasons, but one of the best things about UAB is that the administration actually takes the time to listen to student opinions.
Now is your chance to be heard!
Undergraduate Student Government Student Forum
Thursday, February 26
12:30pm
Blazer Hall Residence Life Center
Sponsored by the Undergraduate Student Government Association, UAB students will have 90 minutes to ask questions to upper-level administration about the future of UAB. If it’s questions/comments/complaints about the library, student life, housing, dining, academics, athletics, parking, safety or whatever else you can think of, the questions are welcome!

Some of our guests include President Carol Z. Garrison, Provost Eli Capilouto, Vice President Douglas Rigney, Brent Bolton of Campus Restaurants, Kim Fort of Parking and Andy Marsch of Student Life.
In my short time at UAB, I’ve heard questions about safety lights at night, library operating hours, getting more funding for the UAB Fishing Team, building a student union, and explanation of visitation rights in the residence halls. Trust me. Any question will be addressed. Questions are taken very seriously and will be handled.
UAB is one of very few schools I know of where the administration is willing to be so open and honest with the student body. In fact, I don’t know any other school that puts on an event like this. Take this chance to be heard and give your input.
