UAB Homecoming 2009!

Growing Through the Decades, Blazing Toward Tomorrow.

Ok everyone lets put the 48-13 loss to Ole Miss behind us and look towards brighter and better things. Like UAB Homecoming! Our UAB Homecoming Committee released the schedule of events last week for Homecoming 2009 along with our slogan, event information and the Homecoming blog to help keep up with everything going on during Homecoming. The quote above is our slogan for this year and it fits so, so well. In case you’ve been too busy wondering what’s going to happen with Balloon Boy to notice, UAB is turning 40 years old this year. Homecoming will be a celebration of this milestone and will focus on what UAB has done in the past, the present and what it is going to do in the future. Although Homecoming will be built around UAB’s game against FAU on November 7th there will be some sort of celebration, if you will, every day/night leading up to the game.

Here’s the list of events for the week with a little description next to it and the link the event page on Facebook
