It’s finally here and the festivities have begun! Head on down to Bartow Arena with your tent if you would like to camp out, or just head on down to hang out.  The University will start handing out numbers at 6pm and things are sure to be picking up at 8 and on into the night. You don’t want to miss this! I have decided that I will update this post as the night goes on and more and more stuff goes down. I have heard talk of bands playing and a D.J. spinning later on tonight.I’ll keep this pages updated so you can be with us in spirit.

Earlier today some one fed Blaze, who is chillin outside of Bartow, a Memphis tiger that he has been chomping on for awhile now, good times. Check it:

Update ~7pm

I got down to Bartow just in time to see a huge line starting to form around the sign up booth for the tickets. I quickly hopped in line and was able to score #109 which was written on my hand. The word is, you have to come back up to Bartow at 7am tomorrow to get your wristband which actually secures your ticket. It seems that you don’t actually have to stay out there all night in order to get a ticket. This is good for me because I have a test tomorrow and I really need to knock away some library time. The game is now totally sold out, so if you are a student I recommend you head on down to Bartow and get a number. Pictures: (sorry they are crappy iphone quality)

Update ~11pm

I had to run some erands and study for a few hours, but I heard that it was jumpin down at Bartow so I had to head that way.  If you are sitting in your dorm room right now and you are skipping out on the Bartow camp out for no reason, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! There are a TON of people down there and they have DJ jerZ 856 from Tau Kappa Epsilon spinning. It’s like being at a huge party, hell, I guess it is a huge party! I also saw that some live bands had been playing, and that the Delta Sigs had done a shrimp boil. Everyone was having a great time. I’ll see everyone at a 7am in the morning! Update ~7am

I never thought that I would see so many college students up so earyly, but today I did. I rolled out of bed at 6:45 when Jessica Seales was blowing up my phone to get me down there in time to get a ticket (thanks btw). I arrived and there were tons of people! Thankfully people were lined up in order of numbers (from the night before) so I got to skip the majority of the line and get my wristband fairly quickly. Here are some pics:
