Why did you decide to come to UAB?

I decided to come to UAB because my whole life I have lived in small towns. So I thought UAB would be perfect for me to experience a big city. Also I wanted to go to a school that was in an urban setting and not the typical college town. I figured If I could live in a big city I could experience and learn so much more

Are you involved with any activities on campus?

I sit on the board for the Indian Cultural Association and I’m involved with the Asian American Organization. I’m also pretty into UAB athletics.
Who is your favorite artist and why?

My favorite artist is lil’wayne because I have been listening to him since he went solo before he blew up and I have seen him grow as an artist. Also I feel like he is a unique artist. His music varies from slow and sober to fast and upbeat. He has a song for any mood you’re in.

Best Memory you’ve had at UAB this far?

There are def too many to just pick one but basically going out with all my friends experiencing life. Like a rapper said “I live for the nights that I can’t remember, with the people that I won’t forget.

What is the stupidest thing you’ve ever done?

I was at a house party and I was about to leave and there was talk that there was cops outside the door, so I checked the peep hole and saw no one so I opened the door and I saw the cop right in front of the door so I thought about it for a second and so I just slammed the door in his face and went to someone’s closet. The cop asked who the kid was in the red shirt that slammed the door in my face so I just took off my shirt and chilled in the house.

Pretty Smart! ha..so what did you spend this past summer doing?

I spent this past summer in New York City interning at a marketing and event planning group. We produced promotional campaigns for beverages and put on events in restaurants, bars, galleries and clubs. It was a lot of fun and an unbelievable experience. I lived in the Lower East Side neighborhood in Manhattan and got to experience a lot of cool things. I encourage everyone to at least visit NYC once.

Well that sounds very cool, last question…How do you feel about being Iloveuab.com’s first Bachelor of the Month!?

I laughed at first because Ive heard of the cute girl of the month but to be the first guy of the month I guess it feels kinda cool. Now I can say I was first to do something at UAB.
