Last month I made a post proposing that we should have a Flash Rave at UAB (go ahead and read it if you haven’t). When I proposed the idea, I didn’t know how well it would be taken….people tend to be a little conservative at UAB these days. However, I was pleasantly surprised that people were thrilled with the whole idea. Because of how well the feedback was, I decided to go ahead with the idea and start to organize a Facebook Group that will allow people who are interested in the Flash Mob to communicate. Over the last few weeks I have been discussing the idea with some more people, some students, some UAB admin. Pretty much everyone loved the idea. Someone also mentioned that we should do a Zombie Flash Mob around Halloween and of course I loved this idea! I think it best that we try and infuse these interesting events with some type of philanthropic twist. I was thinking of something like maybe requiring a canned food to participate, but we will see.
