The Fourth Year (or fifth…or sixth)
For all of you seniors…
If you are like me right now, you are stressed out beyond belief and overwhelmed with school. Being a senior can sometimes be difficult because you are so ready to be done and the motivation to keep up the good work ethic has gone out the window. Here is a word of encouragment from me to you
I hope it serves you well. xoxo Ash
With graduation just around the corner, many students experience different emotions and stress levels. It is important to prioritize, organize, achieve, and accomplish. Remember, the mission is to get through this final year successfully, and the finish line is within reach.
So…make a plan at the mid year point (or now!) and make sure all requirements are met for graduation.
It is also a good idea to talk with a counselor at this point in the game. Start thinking about securing names and phone numbers of contacts and people you can list as references during your job search. Being prepared means less stress and more enjoyment of your last year and all that you’ve worked to accomplished.
YOU MAY BE FEELING…
Happiness…..Achievements
Concerns…..Making sure you’re passing every class and have enough credits to get that degree
Goals…Landing that perfect job in your field that you trained and/or studied for!
Missed Opportunities…Internships, connections, networking, relationships, clubs, or just about anything that you wanted to accomplish during the last four years but couldn’t for whatever reason. My advice- Keep on keepin’ on.
