Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society (SAACS) Meeting

The Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society (SAACS) was formed to address issues facing undergraduate chemistry majors and foster the awareness of the responsibilities and challenges of the modern chemist.  The chapter facilitates academic and professional development, research and presentation experiences, and instills departmental spirit and professional pride.

SAACS will have a meeting on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in room 101 of the Chemistry building at 7:00 PM.  Our guest speaker, Dr. Hamilton, will be discussing the chemistry of beer.  Everyone is invited.  There will be FREE food!  If you have questions, contact SAACS.UAB@gmail.com.  You can also pre-order your t-shirts at this meeting.
