Pro-UAB Rally at UA Board of Trustees Meeting

The #FreeUAB Movement has been working extremely hard on promoting awareness for fair and equal treatment for UAB.  There will be a Pro-UAB Rally at the University of Alabama Board of Trustees Meeting on February 2, 2012 at the UAB Alumni House at Noon.  The UAB Alumni House is located at 1301 10th Avenue South next to Snoozy’s Bookstore.  There will also be another #FreeUAB campus rally before the UAB vs. East Carolina Men’s Basketball game at Bartow Arena.  The game (scheduled for January 28) will begin at 7:00 PM and the rally at 6:00 PM.

This rally is to show the UA Board of Trustees that UAB fans, students, and alumni are upset with the board’s dealing with UAB athletics, particularly with the shelving of the UAB on-campus stadium proposal with no public discussion in November 2011.  Show your pride for UAB and Birmingham and come out and fight to make a better UAB and a better Birmingham!!
