We asked a couple of random UAB students what makes a good date in their eyes and what makes a really bad date. Check it out; some are pretty good for laughs

What makes a good date? When both people feel relaxed and laugh a lot during the date.

What makes a bad date? Two things off the top of my head that makes a date bad is when a date complains the entire time and when the date constantly talks about their ex!

What makes a good date? A good date to me would be a fun place to eat, a good movie, and lots of laughing! 

What makes a bad date? A bad date would be going out with someone who is boring and doesn’t have much to say and isn’t fun to be around.

What makes a good date? When someone is completely interested in you and you have a lot in common with the person

What makes a bad date? Too much awkward silence and no physical attraction!

What makes a good date? What makes a date good is your date putting forth time and effort to make sure your night is special

What makes a date bad? When you date is texting! Rude and Shady!

What makes a bad date? I always think a date is bad when there’s tension or it’s awkward. I think people have more fun when they aren’t so serious or worried about impressing each other.

What makes a good date? The chemistry between the two people.

What makes a bad date? If you can connect with someone and can hold conversation with them then no matter what goes “wrong” the date will still be good.
