New Years Resolutions
So I know we are about two weeks into January and those of you who made New Years resolutions are hard at work (hopefully). This is the time you are on fire for a change and striving to achieve something that is absolutely within reach. Some of the most common resolutions are ones that I’m sure you’ve heard over and over again. Still, they remain relevant and popular because people DO find success in them.
A resolution to lose weight, find a better job, manage debt and control spending, take a vacation, quit smoking/drinking, and many other resolutions are made. A new year brings new thingsĀ and a new semester for us students. It’s important to take things one day at a time and remain patient when trying to reach goals. Don’t throw the towel in simply because you slip up once or twice. A few ways to stick to your resolutions may be to keep a daily journal of your activities. Don’t obsess over your life but write down little things here and there to help you keep focus. If you think a journal or diary is outdated- try a blog. http://www.tumblr.com/
Planning ahead and developing plans are key to your own success. Don’t get discouraged and never give up on your dreams!
