Move-In Weekend!
Rast Hall welcomes students to UAB
Like most move-in weekends at UAB, this one was hectic, tiring, and exciting. Here’s what the scene was like as students settled into their new dormitories:
UAB’s Catholic Student Association was one of the on-campus groups helping incoming students. The cold water and sodas were very welcome, what with all of the heavy lifting that was going on that day.
The drinks were also great for people who were walking from the parking deck. Although it’s a relatively short distance, it was extremely hot.

My sister Ashley already feels at home in her new room (make sure to contact her if you have anything you’d like to have published in Aura, UAB’s literary arts magazine).
