FREE Movie-Star Trek
The UAB film season kicks off on August 21 with Star Trek. Come out on the Campus Green (or the Alumni Auditorium if it’s raining) at 8 p.m. this Friday (Aug. 21) to see how Spock, Kirk, Uhura, Bones and the rest of the Enterprise crew began their journey to go “where no man has gone before”, with a twist. What’s the twist? Well, you’ll just have to come and see, but I will tell you one thing-the plot involves Spock from the future and Spock from the present. Remember that UAB’s free film series is paid for by student services fees, so bring your friends and family for an extremely inexpensive fun night out.
