The UAB film season kicks off on August 21 with Star Trek. Come out on the Campus Green (or the Alumni Auditorium if it’s raining) at 8 p.m. this Friday (Aug. 21) to see how Spock, Kirk, Uhura, Bones and the rest of the Enterprise crew began their journey to go “where no man has gone before”, with a twist. What’s the twist? Well, you’ll just have to come and see, but I will tell you one thing-the plot involves Spock from the future and Spock from the present.
