Free Food for Thought, Trouble the Water, and Acoustic performance this week…and it’s all FREE!!

Need some fun things to do this week but a little low on cash? Well UAB has got your back with plenty of entertaining events throughout this week…and did I mention…it’s all FREE!!!!
As Jason has already mentioned, on Tuesday, come on down to the Spencer Honors House for a latest discussion from Free Food for Thought where they will be asking the question “Can there be morality without religion?” Free Food for Thought is a great way to open your eyes to new perspectives on different aspects of life…and hey, free food as well! On Wednesday, be ready for an extremely eye opening documentary about the lives’ of those effected by Hurricane Katrina. Trouble the Water gives an in-depth look of the victims struggle by incorporating actual footage filmed by the survivors to depict a very real and moving film. It will be played in the HUC Alumni Auditorium and will start at 7:00pm. Oh yeah! This is also FREE so come enjoy this great movie! Join the Facebook Group.
And for Thursday, head over to Jazzman’s in the HUC for some live music! Local artists Ryan Kinder and Blanton Reed will be putting on great acoustic performance. The performance will be from 12:00pm to 2:00pm so it will be a perfect break in-between classes to chill, study or just hang with some friend while you enjoy some amazing music for FREE!
