This Friday is Earth Day! What better way to celebrate than with a good ole fashioned eco friendly party in the UAB Mini Park! It’s going to be packed with tons of great holistic activities to really get you in to the spirit of celebrating our earth!

There will be live music, a bake sale, a free composting course, yoga, Slam poetry, and environmental discussions!

Composting will be from 11:00-12:00, Yoga will be from 12:30-2:30, environmental discussions will be from 12:00-4:00, and the slam poetry will be from 4:30-6:00.

There will be food all day and Nag Hammadi will be providing the music all day.

So come out and celebrate this awesome earth we have! And maybe if we get enough people to come out, maybe UAB and the city of Birmingham might just take notice! Not really sure what that would mean for us, but only good things can come from it. That I’m sure of!
