I know that some people have been worried that there wasn’t a Cute UAB girl for last month. Well, your worries have now been put to rest! Better late than never ya know?! This month’s Cute UAB Girl is names Raven Worthy, and this chick absolutely rocks. Again, I apologize for the lateness of this post, but trust me, the coming awesomeness by far makes up for the wait! So, let’s be clear here. Raven is the Cute UAB Girl from LAST Month (gotta keep this stuff straight for when I make my calendar, oh snap did I say that?!) Let’s get this started:

1. Why did you decided to come to UAB for your college experience?

Well I’m originally from Baton Rouge, LA and applied/accepted to both LSU and UAB. So what made me choose UAB over LSU you ask? Well my sister lives here in Alabama and offered me a free place to stay with her and her husband and obviously, seeing as I’m at UAB, I accepted her offer. I love living with them because not only do I have the luxury of not living with mommy and daddy, but I also have the luxury of not having any living expenses. Thanks big sis!!! However, just because I attend UAB and am a blazer, I’m 100% GEAUX tigers all the way!!!!!

2. It’s Friday night, what are you doing, and who are you with?!

Let’s see… It’s Friday night, so I’ve just gotten off from babysitting three wonderful boys but I need to unwind. After I get myself dolled up I do one of two things, head to the boyfriend’s or to the best friend’s. Depending on the mood I find myself in that evening, I may hit the town for some drinks or stay in and have some, but either way “it’s the freaking weekend and I’m about to have me some fun”!!!! All in all, Friday nights tend to be my jump start for the weekend and I love having some drinks with my man or girls. Most of the time my Friday involves letting my hair down and getting my groove thing on. But hey, after a hard week of work/school it is much needed as well as deserved!

3. Are you involved in any organizations on campus?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. I work two jobs which leaves me little time for involvement with UAB organizations.

4. So like… are you a model?!

Ha ha ha …. In no way am I a model. If you’re asking this because of the few pictures I have posted on my facebook, well I do have an explanation for those. A friend of mine is a photographer and has always asked me to do a photo shoot with him. I always said no because I just don’t see myself as the “model” type. However, there was a contest to be in a calendar at my work and I thought, why not. So those pictures are from my first and last photo shoot that I participated in. However, I know that I will not be a model so I keep my mind on reality and focus my energy and time elsewhere. Would I ever do it again? It was a lot of fun and I had a few pictures that I quite liked. So the answer is maybe, we’ll just have to wait and see!

5. Have you ever been fired from a job? If so, explain!

Fired?!?!?! NEVER…. I’m what they call a great employee!!!!

6. What’s you sexiest asset…you know what we mean.

My favorite/sexiest asset would have to be my hair, eyes, or calves. I love that I have thick, healthy, long hair and because of this I’m actually trying to grow it out so that I can donate it to locks of love. I love my eyes because in the sun they are a hazel color and (in my opinion) I think they have a very seductive look to them. And lastly, I love my hard earned rock hard calves. They look great in heals and my man is defiantly a legs man, so this works well for me… ha ha ha.

7. Most embarrassing moment:

My most embarrassing moment would have to have been when I was in middle school. I was in the band and of course I didn’t play the flute or clarinet or something small and cute like that. No, I played the French horn. For those who are not sure exactly what that is, well let me inform you. It is a very large instrument about half the size of a tuba. Well I would have to bring this instrument home with me every evening after school and like many children I rode the bus home every evening. One afternoon toting this monster home gave me a memory I will never forget. I was the first student dropped off on my bus route, so the bus was full. As I was getting off the bus I had my French horn behind me and it swung and hit me in the back of my knees. As you can imagine it knocked my legs out from under me, leaving me to fall off the bus. But that was not the worse part. Not only did I fall off the bus, but I fell into a HUGE watery mud puddle. But to top the whole series of events off my bus driver stopped the bus and opened the doors to check and see if I was okay. I could hear the whole bus laughing at me along with my brother who was standing in front of me pointing and laughing. I was so embarrassed that I made my mom drive me to and from school for the next month.

8. Have you ever ran away from a cop or campus police?

Um, no I’ve never ran from the cops… But have had my close encounters with them. But silly men cops are so easy to get passed, that I don’t bother wasting my buzz on running.

9. If you had 10 million dollars to improve UAB, what would you do?

If I had 10 million dollars I wouldn’t be at UAB…. I’d keep it all for myself! Sorry UAB looks like the only money you’re going to get out of me is money from my tuition.

10. Have you ever shot a gun?

No, but I’d like to! Guns scare me and I feel that this is due to my lack of experience with them. However, I do feel that everyone should have a gun in their home for protection. Also, I know this sounds weird, but I’d love to go somewhere and shoot toilets with a gun. Why toilets? Because I love the sound of breaking glass and have very poor aim…. I think a toilet would be a big enough target….but maybe not…

11. Bars or Clubs?

Both! It just depends on the night. I love going to a bar, drinking beer, playing pool, and listening to a good band. However, I also love going out to the club and dancing my booty off.

12. Favorite band?

I really don’t have a favorite. I love all types of music so choosing one is just too hard for me.
