Well, it’s everyones favorite time of the month! Cute UAB Girl of the Month time! WOOO! This is our second installment of  Cute Girl Of the Month, and as usual, we have delivered. This month’s girl is Jessica Lucas. So, just like last month’s girl Pamela Hayes, I have asked Jessica some questions and she has been kind enough to answer them for us. Here we go…

1. How long have you lived in Birmingham, and how long have you gone to UAB?

Well… I moved on to Highland the summer of 87′. Through the years I was forced to reside on the outskirts of Birmingham… and I still do. This is my fourth year to go to UAB.

2. Are you involved in any activities on campus?

I am a UAB Blazerette, ( half time show dancers for the football team) No, we are not the Golden Girls =)

3. Blazerettes huh? Do you ladies party a lot?

We’re dancers… We dance… Everywhere… So yeah, you know, we have our party girls for sure.

4. Do you like the food at the Commons?

No thank you, I am a super picky eater though… I guess the salad bar is pretty good, and you can’t go wrong with a turkey sandwich but thats as far as I go with the Commons. I will say, it does give not so picky eaters more options that eating Chick- Fil- A everyday.

5. Would you consider your mom as a  ”hot mom”?

I had to get my looks from someone, haha, no but for real I think my mom is pretty.

6. Have you ever flirted with a teacher in hopes of increasing your grade?

In high school, most definitely, it was pretty much the way of life. In college, I wouldn’t say I have flirted, although I will say that going to office hours and making “friends” with your teachers always helps your grade without a doubt. I am guilty of writing really “poor pitiful me” e-mails to teachers when I forget about assignments and need to turn them in late.

7. If you were going to be stuck on a deserted island (Cast away stylie) what 3 things would you bring?

Cast Away stylie huh??? That’s a hard one, can you bring people? Umm okay, I guess I would bring a life time supply of diet coke, a towel to lay out on for about a week, and then my cell phone to call someone to come get me off this island, or at least to come hang out with me on said island and bring me more stuff!

8. Can you unwrap a Starburst with your tongue?

I absolutely can! In 10th grade, or whenever that Starburst commercial came on for the first time, me and my best friend actually went and bought a giant bag of Starburst so we could conquer the skill. Haha, 2 hours and a giant bag of Starburst later… We got it =)

9. Slip-N-Slide on UAB’s “Green”. Are you game?

Are you kidding? YES! A Slip -N -Slide anywhere would be awesome, especially on this ever so wonderful “Green” that we are finally starting to see take form. Ahh… I can remember when the green was a parking lot and a road… I feel so old.

10. Shower or Bath?

Umm… So, I wake up every day an hour early so that I can take a bath in the morning … Yes, I take baths, everyday… My day is not complete unless I can lay in some scalding hot water for at least thirty min. Showers are great, but not my favorite unless I’m not at home. You know, hotels, friends houses that kind of thing, I’m definitely taking a shower.

11. Have you ever dropped a class? What and why?

Yeah, Freshman year my adviser thought that I would be able to “handle” as she said, a three hundred level psychology class… Umm… wrong. I was in the class for week and decided it was not for me.
