Crawfish Boil Winners
Late last week I got the word from Red Mountain Entertainment that I was going to get the opportunity to give away a few pair of Schaeffer Eye Center Crawfish Boil Tickets. I quickly set up an easy contest and the feedback from that contest was amazing! You can check out the contest here. Entering the contest was super easy, all you had to do was be a UAB student and join the iloveuab.com mailing list. We had almost a hundred new subscribers who were newly entered into the contest and who will now be in the pot to win future promotions. Thanks to everyone who participated!
So, what I did was randomly pick a person from the group of new sign ups, and then I picked randomly from people who were already members of my mailing list.

An email has been sent to both Rachel and Brenna, and as long as they reply within a reasonable amount of time, they’ll be going to the Crawfish Boil ABSOLUTELY FREE courtesy of iloveuab.com.
I’ve also been authorized to give away some more tickets closer to the actual event (April 30 & May), so keep coming back daily so you can get in on the free stuff! The next contest will likely be done via Twitter or Facebook to improve iloveuab.com’s visibility – it will also probably happen pretty fast…so be on the look out!
Also, just a final FYI for you, UAB Blaze Productions will be purchasing 300 Crawfish Boil Weekend passes for sale at the UAB Ticket office. They thing is however, is that the tickets will be only a FRACTION of the price. You’ll be able to buy Crawfish Boil weekend passes at the ticket office for just $20! That’s pretty much a %50 price reductions. These tickets will go quick, so you gotta get ‘em while you can! I’ll make sure to let you know when they go on sale.
