Black Student Awareness Committee (BSAC) BBQ
IT LOOKS LIKE THE BSAC BBQ HAS BEEN POSTPONED ONE DAY UNTIL TOMORROW (Saturday), SAME PLACE SAME TIME.
Tomorrow Friday, August 21, the UAB Black Student Awareness Committee is hosting their annual Back To School BBQ in the UAB Mini Park. Everyone is invited to come out and get some free food. Mark Dixon, the BSAC chair emailed me a quick bit of information about the BBQ.
The BBQ is a social event that is designed to recruit new members, as well as to assist students in creating new social networks. As an annual event of the Black Student Awareness Committee, the goal is to build community, introduce the organization and show students all it has to offer while having a good time in a relaxed safe environment on campus. All food and drinks are provided by BSAC and this event is completely free!!!
I will definitely be making a stop by the mini park tomorrow to socialize and grab some free food. I hope to see you there!
Like all University Program Council events, this one too, is paid for by your student service fees.
