So it’s Homecoming week at UAB and it’s awesome. I have been successful in not paying for food at least three days this week, I love it. The thing about Homecoming week, though, is that there is SOOO much going on it’d hard to keep up with it all. Thankfully the Homecoming committee is running a pretty sweet blog that is keeping everything covered, make sure to check it out.

So anyway, let’s rewind things to Tuesday: Blazer Hustle. Blazer Hustle is basically a huge scavenger hunt that takes place on campus. Student groups get together and compete to see who can solve the puzzle the fastest. The winners were the women of Alpha Xi Delta:

Later that night was Pancakes and Karaoke. Unfortunately the karaoke that is on video is so horrible, I honestly don’t even want to show you. It’s like a train wreck, you just can’t look away. Let me introduce to you Rob Clifton singing RESPECT:

On Wednesday, things got a little more interesting with the UAB Stomp Down where student groups compete by doing skits and “stepping”. Here is some video of Alpha Gamma Delta tearing it up!

Oh yeah! And the Gurney Derby was earlier in the day. Check out this awesome CNN video!

Here’s what happened today. Tonight was the UAB Bon Fire, as well as the fight song competition. Here is a quick video of the fire. I know you just can’t wait to stare at this fire that I recorded:
