UAB Comes From Behind to Beat Troy

UAB vs Troy – Final Drive

99 yards. No problem. 1:09 left on the clock. No big deal. No timeouts left. Child’s play. UAB pulled the comeback to beat the Troy Trojans this past Saturday coming back from a 23 point deficit. Backup quarterback Bryan Ellis threw for 360 yards and three touchdowns after Coach Neil Callaway took out starting quarterback David Isabelle. Ellis was also named the Conference-USA Offensive Player-of-the-Week.  Wide receivers stepped up their game this past week with freshman Jackie Williams being the headliner. He caught six passes for 114 yards and was on the receiving end of the game winning 44 yard Hail Mary play. We needed this spark of life from our entire team as we travel up to Knoxville to play Tennessee this next Saturday.
