Valentines Day: 3 Perfect Date Movies

Valentines Day is coming up but you’re a poor college kid…sucks doesn’t it. You just bought the chocolates, big stuffed animal, paid for dinner etc. and now you have just enough money for one more thing to please your Valentine…how about a movie? Here are 3 great love movies in theatres with weekend that you and your Valentines can enjoy together this romantic weekend.

Dear John

So you want to show your woman you have a sensitive side…my advice is go see this movie! Dear John is the film version a book written by Nicholas Sparks. (Does the movie The Notebook sound familiar?) This movie is going to be a hardcore emotional/love movie that I am sure your Valentine will love. You’ll probably get big brownie points for taking your date to see this flick.WARNING: This movie will cause tears in both women and possibly men!

Valentines Day

What’s more appropriate for Valentines Day then a movie with the same name! This is going to be the perfect romantic comedy for a perfect date. This movie has way too many celebrities to count or even name for that matter, so feel free to watch the trailer to see for yourself. With many love stories, quirky funniness, and it’s huge cast of celebs…Valentines Day seems to be your best choice for you date that both you and your loved one will enjoy. (This will be the movie I’ll be taking my lady to this weekend.)

My advice for this movie is buy tickets in advance or get there early! It’s opening weekend for this movie so chances are that this will be the movie everyone will go to and may possibly sell out.

When In Rome

Ok well I promised three “great” love movies…I lied. Given that I’m a poor college kid, I could not go see these movies to give you an “expert” view of them, so I had to do some research. Apparently, When In Rome is not getting to great of reviews. This movie is CHEESY and more of a comedy then anything. My advice is to judge how you and your Valentine enjoy movies because this date movie could possibly be a dorky movie that the two of you can make fun of together or it could possibly ruin the perfect date.
