I’ll be honest. I don’t give two shits about sports, hence the lack of sports talk on iloveuab.com ( Bye the way, if you love UAB sports and you feel like you can write interesting shit, shoot me an email. astoneuab [at] gmail [dot] com or us the contact form) Anyways, I still watch the super bowl because it seems like the thing to do, I like when boobies pop out on national TV, and I love to watch the commercials.  While I was watching today, I made sure to make note of some awesome commercials that I saw. Including the hyped 1 second highlife commercial. So, here we go:

#5 Cash4Gold was pretty awesome. They got M.C. Hammer and Ed McMahon to do a really funny and entertaining commercial. I would like to point out though that it is a CASH4GOLD commercial a super scammy bottom of the bucket use-a-number-in-our-url type company( however they can afford a multimillion dollar commercial during the super bowl ). It’s also a clear representation of our crappy economy right now also.

#4 The NBC 13 LMAO Commercial. This one was brilliant. I almost Laughed My Ass Off when I saw it. What a great play on a internet chatroom phenomenon.

#3 The one second Highlife Commercial. I bet you probably missed it. I actually only heard it and then heard the whole room laugh. Seeing this video now is my first view of it for real. That was awesome. HIGHLIFE!

#2 Bruce Springsteen cracking the family jewels on a camera while he does a “on the knees” slide. This one isn’t exactly a commercial, but I still found it pretty funny. Check out the video below of the half time performance at around second 3:40 and you will see what I mean. FIXED FOR NOW

#1 Careerbuilder.com – This one was the bomb! I have no idea what is going on, all I know is that a Koala is getting punched in the face and that shit is hilarious. Check it:
