Run like you stole something

After somewhat surviving my first Mercedes half-marathon over the weekend, my brain is ready for another run (my feet, that’s another story).

Enter, the UAB National Alumni Society!

The 3rd Annual Dollars for Scholars 5K/10K will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 in the Pepper Place District of Downtown Birmingham.  Both 5K and 10K races will begin at 6 p.m. with a post-race party to follow outside the Cantina with food, drinks, and entertainment for all ages.

Registration is taking place now!  Entry fees are $20 until March 31, $25 from April 1-23, and $30 the day of the event.

Register online today at www.active.com, by phone at 205-934-3555 or 1-800-898-2586.  The registration form can also be downloaded using the link below and faxed to 205-934-3926, or, returned by mail to UAB Alumni Affairs, 516 20th St. S., Birmingham, AL 35294-4555.
