What are you doing this Tuesday night?

Well, if you know the answers to questions such as, “What label was the band Nirvana on?” or, “In the 1990’s, what group a hit with ‘Unbelievable’?” then you need to check out Music Snob Trivia.

Every Tuesday night at 8 PM, Bottletree fills up with some of the most knowledgeable music snobs in Birmingham. The competition is stiff, and most of the time the place is standing-room only! Now, even if you aren’t a music nerd, never fear, there usually is something for everyone.  The questions range from very easy,  such as ‘who penned X song?’,  to very difficult — space rock trivia definitely killed me!

There are prizes for the winners, but the ultimate prize for music snob trivia is supporting the nonprofit Scrollworks.  Scrollworks is an organization that provides music lessons to people who could not afford to have them. As we all know, the arts enrich everyone’s lives, and Scrollworks is doing a great thing in ensuring everyone has access to them.

Of course, there’s always the bragging rights after you win, and the awesome drink and food specials at Bottletree!

So get a table, come up with your team name, grab a basket of sweet potato fries and come join in at Bottletree on Tuesday nights!
