It’s Been a Bad Week for Airplanes: Part 1
If you have watched the news at all this week, then you know that Airplanes have been getting it rough. First we have some crazy dude jump out of his airplane over Alabama. Second we have that United Airways flight that landed in the Hudson…talk about a bad day.
Let’s start with homeboy that decides he is going to fake his own death. Now, why would someone want to fake their own death? Let’s take a look at our boy Marc Schrenker:
Like seriously? What in the hell is wrong here?! Trophy Wife – Check, Lexus – Check, private plane that I will jump out of and fake my own death becuase I got caught up in fraud – Check. Seems our boy Mark here got caught up in some serious fraud which resulted in a settlement of $533,564. Ouch. Things went from bad to worse when his wife, after the huge judgement against ol’ Mark was finalized, divorced him. Double Ouch. After all this horrible crap happend to Mark, he decides to do the following things. (I’ll try and keep it short)
- Mark puts his plane on autopilot and bails out, landing in Childersburg, Alabama.
- He somehow talks police into taking him to a motel, he checks in.
- He showers and then flees. News of his plane crashing and his warrants get into the media.
- He retrieves his stashed motorcycle from the woods, that he hid their days earlier.
- He goes to some campground and sends an email, and then slits his wrists. Damn.
This is just an extremely odd story. It’s amazing that people didn’t get hurt from the plane crash (it landed in a wooded area). Not only is he going to have a ton of charges from all this craziness, but he still has that huge fraud charge over his head. It’s crazy how fast someone, who I would assume seemed normal, can ruin their life.
I also find it amazing how both the Bermuda Triangle, as well as the Fraud Triangle find ways to swallow airplanes.

FYI: I made that awesome fraud triangle in Paint, If anyone you know needs design work done, hit up my contact page.
