My recommendations for this week? Well, in town, I would check out Mavis Staples! I saw her at Bonnaroo in 2007 and she certainly knows how to bring the house down. Bring your dancing shoes — even if it is at the Alys Stephens Center! My recommendations for out-of-town shows are Dr. Dog, BB King, Above and Beyond, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Robert Earl Keen.
