Death Cab for Cutie Comes back to Birmingham 5/5/09
It looks like Birmingham’s Emo scene is once again going to get its fill in May. I just read over at the Birmingham Entertainment section of Al.com written by Matt Cuthbert, that Death Cab for Cutie is returning to Birmingham on May 5th this year. It looks like they will be over at the BJCC, but it doesn’t seem that they are selling tickets right yet (pricing seems to be around $30 a pop though, they go on sale Friday). As soon as they go on sell, I recommend you go ahead and get your tickets, they might have the potential to sell out.
I’m really not a big fan of this band but I know a lot of people are so I figured it would be worth mentioning, and who knows I might even go see them. Here is a video of their last performance at the BJCC: (Damn I feel like I ripped off Matt’s post, but what can you do?)
Tickets are now on Sale. CLICKY

Death Cab isn’t emo, but I won’t harass you about that one Stone
I’ve seen DCFC 3 times now (twice at Bonnaroo and the last time they came to the BJCC)…all of the shows were awesome. I would look for them to put on a good show, but I wasn’t a huge fan of their last album, Narrow Stairs.
i hate this band worse than satan
Already got my tickets, should be a great show.
