Once again I braved the sweltering heat and headed on out to City Stages Saturday night. I didn’t know to many of the artists, so I was shooting at the hip on some of these. I have some great video from Johnny Lang and Dierks Bently for the most part. I have media passes and they finnally started to pay off for me. On Friday I had no idea how to actually use the media pass as it is supposed to be used,  so I had no good close up video or pics. However, with a day of learning already under my belt I was able to figure out how to get the most out of the passes. City Stages will only let media into the pit for the first three songs of any performance, so I had to be on my A game to get up there. Right when a performer starts they let the media in (me haha!) and all these other people (hardcore photographers like bham news) go crazy kind of like an Asian tourist who just set foot on American soil lol I kind of feel dumb with my Canon Digital Elf, but I give it hell like I’m the paparazzi.
